Why don’t I see my NS benefits in the LifeSG app?

The LifeSG app only shows benefits that you’ve already received.

If you’re looking for your National Service LifeSG credits, check back from November 2024 onwards.

If you believe you’re eligible for the NS Celebratory GiftsNS Excellence Award, or NS HOME Awards  but do not see the credits on your app, contact the NS Call Centre at 1800 367 6767  or email contact@ns.gov.sg.

How do I use the credits I’ve received from an NS benefit?

If you’ve received credits as part of an NS benefit (NS Celebratory GiftsNS Excellence Award, or others), here’s how you can use them with the LifeSG app:

  1. Go to Home via the bottom navigation.
  2. Scroll to the Benefits and support section.
  3. Look for your NS benefit and select View details.
  4. Select Scan QR code to pay.

You can use your credits to make payment at merchants that offer PayNow UEN or NETS QR.

I tried to make payment, but was told that the QR code is unsupported. Why?

Only PayNow UEN or NETS QR codes are accepted.

The merchant may be using a PayNow QR code that’s linked to their personal phone number (instead of their company UEN number). If this is the case, you’ll not be able to use LifeSG to pay with your credits.

I’m having trouble paying with my credits at a specific merchant. What can I do?

Do check with the merchant to find out if they are using a PayNow QR code that’s linked to a personal phone number (instead of their company UEN number). If this is the case, you’ll not be able to use LifeSG to pay with your credits.

If the merchant is using a PayNow UEN QR code or a NETS QR code but you’re unable to use your credits to make payment, email us at helpdesk@life.gov.sg.

Please include the following details:

  • merchant name
  • location
  • date and time of transaction
  • your mobile device model and software version

How can I use my credits if my phone does not have a camera?

A camera is needed to scan the PayNow UEN or NETS QR for payment. Please use another phone with a camera to log in to LifeSG to use the credits.

How can I use my credits if I’m using a Huawei phone?

Unfortunately, LifeSG is not available on Huawei AppGallery at the moment.

To use the credits from your NS benefits, please use another phone to download LifeSG from the Google Play Store or iOS App Store.
